Bringing together artists from across the country, the show reflects on memory, identity, and personal history through contemporary printmaking.
Working with imagery drawn from nature, portraiture, and cultural symbols, the artists explore what it means to reflect and define a sense of self.
Rooted in careful and deliberate processes, the exhibition highlights printmaking as both a technical practice and a space for reflection. Together, these six artists present a thoughtful body of work that speaks to their personal histories as well as their dedication to printmaking as a craft and means of connection.
This show is brought to you by the KCAI Printmaking Senior class as group exhibition of six emerging artists: Chel Adler, Allyson Carter, Beatrice Curry, Karter Jones, Olivia Overfield, and Maddy Thurman.
